The children we mentor face a wide variety of social and emotional challenges at home, play, and school.  Mentors have the perfect opportunity to begin conversations with their children that show care, give the children confidence, and help them think of ways to face social and emotional challenges with good choices and resilience.  Cool Kids provides handouts for mentors to read with their children, “Gab” questions for sharing, and role-playing and drawing activities and lesson resources to use with families and groups of children.
