Dr. Schwall provides a comprhensive counseling program at our school to equip students to learn and grow and to create a positive learning environment.
Dr. Schwall uses Cool Kids, a curriculum he wrote, in the guidance lessons he leads. The lessons include videos, games, role-plays, drawing activities, and brainstorming to teach students the Cool Rules. The Cool Rules help students
handle feelings, problem-solve, give respect to others, be responsible, and develop confidence. The Cool Rules are used by our school to encourage positive behavior.
Dr. Schwall visits each class once a month. Dr. Schwall also leads Coolcasts, messages that focus on character, respect, and responsibility, each morning on the morning announcements.
